Stylists and Creative Consultants Nicole Mott (Nic) and Debbie Wong (Deb), behind Hong Kong’s Dressing The Woman (DTW), join us this glamming season to reveal their transformative styling approach.

Behind Dressing the Woman
Nic and Deb launched their innovative styling service, Dressing the Woman (DTW), with a simple mission to empower the women of Hong Kong in style and confidence. And through their neoteric style wizardry, they have helped countless femmes revamp their wardrobe, style and aesthetics.
Taking on a holistic approach to styling their clients ‘from the inside out’, DTW promises to craft an “authentic representation of YOU”. Beyond the nits and grits of styling, the two believe “that if your outer presentation is in harmony with who you are, you are unstoppable”.

In the exclusive styling series, Nic and Deb put on show their go-to method (referencing the Kibbe Framework), as they style and create statement looks on 5 sensational women; with one being Dramatic, other Natural, Classic, Romantic, and last but not least - Gamine. DTW unveils the secret to crafting eye-catching layers, jewelry stacks and effortlessly chic ensembles is to recognise your style aesthetic and energy.

Women as the Inspiration
When asked about their thought-process in creating the 5 statement-looks, the two shared, “We always say that our models (and clients!) are our inspiration. Styling each woman was a joy because each one was so distinct and confident in their uniqueness. We simply picked jewelry that made them shine.”
“Rose is angular and tall with a quiet intensity, she's a dramatic so we matched that energy with bold chunky layers of white gold vermeil.
"Vicky is effortless, fresh and soulful, and so we picked pieces that had a bohemian vibe. Evelyn is the embodiment of sugar and spice, she is delicate and electric at the same time. So we had fun and mixed feminine and tough, girly and cool,” added Nic and Deb.

Deb describes her statement jewelry to be something she goes back to time and time again - her “medium sized gold hoops earrings”.
As for Nic “it's a few layered gold necklaces. A balanced mix of delicate and slightly weighty”.

Deb added, “I love layering chunky rings at the moment, and mixing gold with silver. Gold evokes warmth, while silver feels cooling and fresh, so mixing them for summer makes total sense to me! The Soufflé ring is my favorite.
